Two days of exploring how to open your body, breathe more deeply, increase strength and stamina and when needed extra support to find ease in asana “Sthira Sukham Asanam” Mr. Iyengar “invented” the use of props. Every studio today that uses a belt, block or chair is indebted to Iyengar yoga. To understand fully how to maximize use of the chair study with an Iyengar yoga teacher.


  • 9am – 12pm: Standing asana and hip openers
  • 12pm- 1:30pm: lunch
  • 1:30pm to 4:30 pm: Forward extensions and twists


  • 9am – 12pm: Shoulders, chest openers and backward extensions
  • 12pm- 1:30pm: lunch
  • 1:30pm – 4:30pm: Arm balances and Inversion series
